As the world remembers Princess Diana on the 27th anniversary of her tragic passing, her legacy continues to live on through her family.

Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, have made it a priority to keep Diana's memory alive for their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—who never had the chance to meet their iconic grandmother.

According to royal expert Phil Dampier, Kate ensures that the children are well aware of Diana's significance, especially on important anniversaries like her birthday or the day of her death.

This connection to Diana is maintained through various heartfelt gestures, including the tradition of the young royals writing homemade cards to "Granny Diana" on special occasions.

In 2021, the world saw touching examples of these cards shared online, with messages of love and remembrance.

Diana's final resting place at Althorp House in Northampton holds deep significance for her sons, William and Harry.

Dampier revealed that William and Kate have taken their children to visit Diana's grave, providing a poignant moment for the family to honor her memory.

Harry also shared a private moment at the grave with his wife, Meghan Markle, during a visit in 2022, as recounted in his memoir, *Spare.*

Beyond these visits, Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, also play a role in keeping Diana's memory alive.

They share stories about Diana's life and her impactful work, ensuring that the young royals understand the legacy she left behind.

In their own parenting, William and Kate mirror many of Diana's affectionate gestures, such as holding their children's hands and engaging with them at their level, echoing the warmth and compassion Diana was known for.

As the royal family continues to honor Diana's memory, her influence is felt in the way her grandchildren are being raised with love, kindness, and an enduring connection to the grandmother they never knew but will always cherish.
