A delegation of 55 Hindu pilgrims from India have reached Pakistan on a seven-day visa to perform their religious rituals.
The Indian delegation under the leadership of Vijay Kumar Sharma were welcomed at the Wagah border in Lahore on Tuesday by Pakistani leaders, including Additional Secretary Shrines Rana Shahid Saleem.
Saleem said that preparations had been completed by the Abandoned Waqf Property Board regarding food, accommodation, and prayers for the pilgrims.
Security staff had been deployed at all the 17 temples in Katas Raj and other important places.

Hindu pilgrims arriving in Pakistan would leave for Katas Raj Mandir, Chakwal district today (Wednesday) by special buses after spending the night at Gurdwara Shree Dera Sahib in Lahore.
The Hindu pilgrims will stay at Katas Raj on Dec 21 and 22 where Shiva Ratri Puja/Kartik Puja and Putra Ashnan will be performed.
The local Hindu community will also participate in these religious rituals.
The Indian guests will return via Wagah border on Dec 23.
