Hrithik's body, Shah Rukh's charm: Mani likens himself to Bollywood's finest

The actor and comedian indulged in a subtle, albeit humorous, self-mockery act on his Instagram Story

Salman Saqib Sheikh, popularly known as Mani, recently took to his Instagram Story to share a throwback picture of himself alongside a hilarious caption in which he compared himself to the three big Khans of Bollywood as well as other renowned B-town superstars. In the picture, Mani could be seen wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans and posing with his arms crossed over his chest.

With tousled hair, matching sunglasses, and cool expressions, Mani decided to post this old photograph because he was either feeling confident about the way he looked at the time the picture was clicked or because he wanted to poke fun at his Y2K look and give his fans something to laugh about. His mockery of this macho-man-meets-chocolate-hero avatar was reflected in his caption and the many funny parallels he drew between his physical and mental attributes and those of 2000’s Bollywood heartthrobs.

“Hrithik ki body, Shah Rukh ki adayain, Bobby Deol jaisay mazboot baal, Sallu Bhai jaisi commitment, Akshay jaisa manly, Amir Khan jaisa cute pappu, 6 mardon ki khasousiyat wala Mani (A body like Hrithik’s, Shah Rukh’s charm and facial expressions, strong hair like Bobby Deol’s, commitment like Salman Khan’s, manly like Akshay, cute like Amir Khan; Mani with the special traits of six different men),” wrote Mani.

Each comparison was followed by cheeky tongue-out emojis or laughing emojis, confirming the fact that the post was made as an attempt at humor and for the sake of Mani entertaining his followers. This story post was very on-brand for Mani, as he is most known for his comedic roles in television and film and has a reputation for not taking himself too seriously.
