Pakistani superstar Saba Qamar recently appeared as a guest on Mazaq Raat and during her conversation with host Imran Ashraf, she shared her belief that every person needs a companion in their life.
Saba’s admission of this belief was prompted by Imran’s observation that there is now a strong, newfound calmness and faith about her that also reflected in her eyes. The host went on to say that his own experiences in life tell him that the sort of calm that the Baaghi star is exuding these days has to do with there being a special someone in her life.
“Meri zindagi ka jo tujurba hai who mujhsey yeh keh raha hai ‘koi tou hai’. Koi tou hai jo aya hai aur yeh sab kuch laaya hai. (My experience of life tells me ‘there is someone’. There is someone who has come and brought this change in you)," the Ranjha Ranjha Kardi star commented.
Imran encouraged Saba to reply with a straightforward ‘yes or no’ answer. The Kamli actor reacted by smiling shyly at the Raqs-e-Bismil star's observation and then responded to his question by saying that everyone always needs someone to be in their life and that no person can live without a companion.
"Hum insaanon ko koi ki hamesha zaroorat hoti hai. Koi insaan kisi kay baghair reh nahi sakta (We humans always need someone. No person can live without someone)," the Cheekh actor commented.
Imran then further prompted Saba to reveal more about her relationship status by inquiring if she was a person in need or if her need for companionship was fulfilled in the present moment and in the context of what she had just said. “Tou kya aa piss waqt yeh jo lamha chal raha hai, uss main zarooratmand hain yah zaroorat poori ho chuki hai? (So are you right now, in this current moment, someone in need or has your need been fulfilled?)”
Saba’s single-word reply of “Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God)” was enough to get the host and the live audience cheering because it confirmed what many Pakistani showbiz fans had been speculating for a while now—that the Hindi Medium star had finally found a special someone for herself.
