On the recommendation of Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar the Governor Sindh Mohammad Kamran Tessori administered the oath to a 10-member caretaker cabinet during a simple ceremony at the CM House on Saturday.

The caretaker cabinet members include Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz (Home and Prison); Muhammad Younus Dhaga (Finance, Planning & Development, Revenue); Mubeen Jumani (Local Govt, Housing & Town Planning, Rehabilitation); Dr Saad Khalid Niaz (Health, Social Welfare, Public Health Engg), Dr Junaid Shah (Youth Affairs, Sports, Culture, HR Development); Mrs. Rana Hussain (School Education, College Education, Women Empowerment), Ishwar Lal (Irrigation); Arshad Wali Muhammad (Tourism, Environment & Climate Change); Omar Soomro (Law, Religious Affairs & Human Rights); and Khuda Bux Marri (Mines & Minerals). The caretaker chief minister witnessed the oath-taking ceremony.

The ceremony was conducted by Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput and was attended by acting IG Police Imran Yakoob Minhas, Chairman P&D Hassan Naqvi, provincial secretaries, former IT minister Taimur Talpur, MQM leader Khwaja Izhar, Dr. Farooq Sattar, and the family members of the caretaker ministers.
