The New Karachi Industrial Area Police and Sir Syed Police apprehended a wanted suspect - Siraj also know as Mamu Munki - and seized 2.09kgs of hashish and a 30-bore pistol from his possession. Other suspect Saqib, alias Karkar, managed his escape during the operation.

Meanwhile, the Sir Syed Police arrested four suspects in different operations on the basis of CCTV footage. Tahir Munir, involved in motorcycle lifting, was apprehended and recovered a stolen motorcycle. Tahir Munir confessed to dismantling the stolen motorcycles and selling their parts online.

In another operation, two individuals, Rashid Khan and Ahmedullah, were apprehended for their involvement in street crimes. The police recovered stolen mobile phones, cash, and other stolen items from their possession.

Further, police arrested Bilal Siddiqui, who was seen in a mobile phone video kidnapping, torturing, and murdering 26-year-old Adeel near Nagan Chowrangi during an operation. The arrest took place promptly after the incident, Express News and other news channels reported.

Showroom owners Ali Nawaz and Ammar were apprehended on the same day, while the police had also arrested an accomplice of Bilal Siddiqui. The investigation into the incident continues.
