Bollywood's King Khan is back and how! After a herculean box office run with his last offering, Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has finally released the trailer of his next action thriller, Jawan. The prevue has garnered over 56 million views so far.

The Atlee directorial stars Shah Rukh in a double role, and will also see Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Sethupathi alongside a highly-anticipated Deepika Padukone cameo. Since the trailer has been unveiled, many Bollywood stars have taken to social media and lauded the Dilwale star's upcoming film, touting it to be the best work of his career so far.

His Tiger Vs Pathaan costar, Salman Khan, too, praised Shah Rukh and lauded the film on social media. "Pathaan jawan ban gaya (Pathaan is now Jawan) - an outstanding trailer, absolutely loved it. Now this is the kind of movie we should see in theatres only. I toh for sure see it 1st day ko hi (I will watch it on day one). Mazaa ahh gaya, wah. (Had so much fun!)."

The action-packed sneak peek seems to hint at a return to Shah Rukh's roots. That means that audiences may see the superstar embody the role of a villain, instead of a clear-cut hero.

With moral ambiguities and a voiceover that aims to capture the multi-faceted aspect of Khan's character, the preview boasts seven different looks for the Bollywood icon. Larger-than-life and packed with sequences that promise high-octane exposition, the preview has fans excited and intrigued.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is backed by Gauri Khan. With its release scheduled for September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, Jawan is anticipated to deliver an explosive and thrilling cinematic experience.
