Tom Moffat, Chief Executive of the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations (FICA), has expressed his desire for Pakistan players to benefit from their affiliation with the organization.

While speaking exclusively to Cricket Pakistan, Moffat highlighted the potential advantages that Pakistani players could gain by aligning themselves with FICA, similar to their international counterparts.

“A lot of the work that FICA does for players is at global level, including around ICC Events and other global opportunities, and it would be great if the Pakistan players could benefit from being affiliated to FICA like most of their international colleagues around the world do,” Moffat said.

Moffat stressed that while each country's cricket affairs are primarily managed internally, FICA is always ready to provide assistance whenever requested.

“Each countries affairs are its own, however, FICA will always try and assist where it is asked to, and we always aim to do that in a collaborative and proactive way,” he said.

“Players’ associations have played an important role in most developed cricket countries in growing the game and also providing education and welfare support for players during and after their careers,” he added.
