Former Pakistan captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, has advised selectors to quickly include players who are suitable for the upcoming 2023 World Cup in India.

During a media talk in Karachi, he praised the Pakistan team's management for implementing a rotation policy during the recent series against New Zealand, which allowed every player to get a chance to play.

“It is a good thing that every player got the chance to play, as you could make use of rotation policy in this series [against New Zealand]. So it was a good decision by Pakistan team’s management,” Sarfaraz said.

“The selectors must have 25 or 30 players in their mind, so they should try to include those players in the team as soon as possible, who they think would play the World Cup, as we are short on time,” he added.

Sarfaraz called on the Asian Cricket Council and ICC to facilitate India's visit to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup. He praised Pakistan's hospitality and urged India to travel to Pakistan, stating that it would be a positive step towards promoting cricket in the region.

India should play cricket in Pakistan. Pakistan has made a lot of efforts to revive cricket. No team in the world has the right to refuse to play in Pakistan. The Asian Cricket Council and ICC should play their roles in facilitating India's visit to Pakistan,” he said.

Pakistan is famous for its hospitality around the world,” he added.
