Actor Sami Khan was recently given a dressing down on a talk show with supposedly “funny” questions asked by comedian Sheikh Qasim that insinuated he’s had an unsuccessful career.
Soon after a clip of his exchange in the show surfaced online, several actors came to his defense. In response to the overwhelming support, the Taqdeer star took to Instagram on Sunday to share his two cents on the situation.
"Thank you all for the posts and private messages, it means a lot to me," he said. "Patience is hard but it makes your belief stronger."
Sami also highlighted how this situation was upsetting for his family. "I was upset and hurt, not only because of what I went through but because of what my family had to go through. So, I prayed and let everything to God. Our success and failure is in the hands of Allah, not people. If he is with you, no one can harm you," he shared.
Before concluding his message, the Tinkay Ka Sahara actor urged his followers to leave the matter alone. "I would like to move on and not further discuss this and give it more importance. Thank you so much for all the love and support!"
After Sami's post circulated on Instagram, several celebrities' lauded his positive attitude. "We all love you and respect you," wrote Ayeza Khan.
"A great man and hero!" said Hira Mani, while Nida Yasir penned, "More power to you."
