Karachi Games 2023 will take place from March 3 to 12, in which more than 5,000 athletes will compete in 42 games

The metropolitan city has produced great athletes, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori said expressing hope that Karachi Games 2023 will produce stars of national level.

Karachi Games 2023 organised by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) opened at the KMC Sports Complex with the march of the participating teams.

Besides Governor Tessori as chief guests, former test cricketers Sadiq Muhammad, Tauseef Ahmed, Shoaib Muhammad, international gold medalist female athlete Naseem Hameed, Secretary of Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Rajput, foreign diplomats, and others were also present.

Karachi Games 2023 will take place from March 3 to 12, in which more than 5,000 athletes will compete in 42 games, which also include 27 women's sports.

Governor Tessori visited the Karachi Central Jail on Friday and reviewed the facilities provided to the prisoners.
