The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed former chairman, Ramiz Raja’s claim that the new PCB regime under Najam Sethi wanted him to apologize for his recent statements against the new Management Committee, in order to include him into the commentary panel of HBL Pakistan Super League.

“They want me to apologize to them first and give an application for commentary, then they will review it. Do you think I will do that?” Raja said in a Q&A session with fans on Thursday.

However, now the PCB representative have clarified that there is no commentary gag on Ramiz and he is free to commence his commentary in PSL and anywhere else in the world.

“Mr. Ramiz Raja is free to do commentary. There is no restriction on him from the PCB. He can commentate whenever and wherever he wants. PCB has not asked him to apologise for anything. PCB management committee chairman, Najam Sethi, has also clarified this earlier in media conferences,” PCB representative confirmed.
