Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz hammered his countrymen Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim for sixes, to win a low-scoring encounter for Rangpur Riders against Sylhet Strikes by six wickets on Friday in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023.
With his side reeling at 66-4 chasing 93 runs, Nawaz defended his first three deliveries against Amir. The all-rounder then upped the ante against Imad, hitting him for a four and followed it with a big six down the ground.

Nawaz wasn’t done as he smashed a short delivery from Amir over the boundary and into the stands, to finish with an unbeaten cameo of 18 runs from 13 balls. Riders chased the target with 26 balls to spare.

Earlier, Nawaz had conceded 17 runs from his two overs, while Haris Rauf bowled an economical spell of 1/19 in his four overs for Riders.
