One person was killed and another injured in an armed clash between two housing societies in Bagra village within the limits of Chakri police station.

According to police, a firing incident took place between the Zahid Khan group and Muzamil Shah group.

The Zahid Khan group had attacked the private housing society’s camp in an attempt to occupy it. In retaliation, when firing began from both sides, Muzamil Shah got killed while a guard was injured. Both the injured and the deceased were shifted to DHQ hospital.

Meanwhile, the police also added that they had conducted a search operation two days ago in Bagra village where twenty-four people were detained and weapons were recovered from their possession.

During the search operation, one of the accused had also opened fire which resulted in the injury of one of the police personnel.
