Provincial secretary says arrangements in the hospital have improved

Punjab Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi has announced the release of Rs260 million for the repair and maintenance of the Services Hospital to ensure the quality of facilities.

He was speaking during a surprise visit to the hospital where the principal of the Services Institute of Medical Sciences gave a detailed briefing to him.

The provincial secretary said the arrangements in the hospital had improved.

He instructed the medical superintendent and assistant MS of the hospital to ensure better treatment of patients. There should not be any shortage of medical facilities in operation theatres, he added.

Dr Qazi visited the emergency and medical wards, other medical facilities and elevators.
