The Rawalpindi Development Authority directed the private consultant to quickly complete the work of determining the boundaries of the master plan for construction and development in four tehsils of Rawalpindi district including Gujjar Khan, Taxila, Kallar Syedan, and Kahota at its earliest.
As per sources, these recommendations for the master plan will be presented to the governing body of RDA, said RDA Spokesman.
He said that under the chairmanship of Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza and the Director General RDA Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, a meeting was held at the conference room of RDA.
He said that the consultant from Mott Macdonald Pakistan (MMP) gave a detailed presentation about the master plan and discussed the large-scale work for the preparation of regional development plans for four tehsils of Rawalpindi.
Moreover, he said that RDA town planners suggested that the master plan needs to be modified before it could get the approval of the RDA Governing Body.
