14 uplift schemes approved

The commissioner ordered that the construction process be expedited and personally monitored by the relevant officers

The Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) approved 14 developmental schemes in various sectors.

These schemes were approved in a meeting chaired by Commissioner Lahore Division Muhammad Ali Jan at his office on Saturday.

The approved development schemes included sewerage, drains and water supply lines and replacing water disposal stations within various union councils of the division.

Sewerage and water supply projects in Etihad colony, Shadab colony, Pitter Gill colony, and Stara colony were also approved by the Divisional Development Working Party.

The commissioner ordered that the construction process be expedited and personally monitored by the relevant officers. He added that the ongoing development projects should be completed on time and handed over to the relevant departments so that facilities can be provided to the public in the division. AP
