In light of the claims of domestic abuse made against Feroze Khan by his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, and the evidence submitted in court to support the same, several from the entertainment fraternity have been calling for a ban on the actor in solidarity with Aliza's case.
Numerous have also extended their support to Aliza. While actor Iqra Aziz retracted her contract for an upcoming drama serial involving Feroze, actor Zara Noor Abbas has come forward to make her stance on the matter as clear as day.
The actor has asserted that “men like Feroze Khan [need] to be condemned.” She wrote in an Instagram Story, “Men like Feroze Khan, who think that they are the ‘chosen’ ones, [who think] they can do anything in the name of Allah and power, need to be condemned to [expose] their true place in the world and not the righteous character they portray.”
Addressing Aliza’s situation, she added, “My heart goes out to Alizeh and her kids for suffering through this and trying to make the marriage work. I extend my support to her and all the women who speak up against domestic [violence] and mental [torture].”
Feroze and Aliza’s divorce case has spread on social media like wildfire since evidence of the prior’s alleged treatment of the latter made its way to media outlets. The proof Aliza submitted to the court includes a copy of the complaint and her medical-legal certificate.
Feroze, on the other hand, has issued a statement of his own, “vehemently denying” all the allegations of abuse being levelled against him.
