KARACHI:

The four-day International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) will be held at the Expo Center Karachi from November 15-18.

The most important mega event in South Asia, organised by Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), could not be conducted in 2020 due to the global pandemic of Covid-19. Year 2000 marked the beginning of IDEAS that has now become an international gathering place for defence manufacturers, entrepreneurs, R&D specialists, finance experts, and leading policy officials to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and financial support for businesses in defence collaboration.

The 11th edition of IDEAS demonstrates country's dedication to the promotion of technology.

This event will significantly improve Pakistan's strategic ties with other nations and share objectives of world peace and stability.

The government agencies, military forces, the public and commercial defence industry, trade associations, and especially the people of Karachi have given IDEAS their fullest support for it to be hosted with tremendous success up to this point.

The previous exhibition of IDEAS in 2018 attracted 524 exhibiting delegations from 45 countries. The show was attended by over 262 high-level delegations.

IDEAS offers international delegates and officials a unique chance to learn in-depth information about Pakistan's defence readiness and training capabilities.

Pakistan offers many lucrative investment opportunities, and the country's defence sector is driving growth.

The IDEAS gives Pakistan great pride when international delegations attend.
