Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar faced derogatory remarks from an overseas Pakistani at the US airport, the video of which went viral on social media.
In the video, it can be seen that the overseas Pakistani said harsh words, after which Dar told the said person that “you are a liar”. The person called the federal minister “a thief and a liar”.

Meanwhile, a person along with Dar was also seen in the video threatening the overseas Pakistani, saying: “You don't know me”. Later, harsh sentences were exchanged between the said person and the overseas Pakistani.

It should be noted that Dar is in the US to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
Pakistan will seek new terms from international lenders after devastating floods hit the country. According to a statement of the Ministry of Finance, the finance minister briefed the agencies about the devastation in the country which has affected infrastructure, crops and people's livelihoods.
