Missing girl found caged by neighbour

Kidnapper had kept 10-year-old prisoner over monetary dispute with her uncle

The missing minor girl was recovered from the house of her neighbour in Orangi Town on Monday.

Reportedly, the girl was found at the house of her neighbour who had kept her a prisoner

According to the details, 10-year-old Iqlima, daughter of Ghulam Mustafa, resident of Sector 14, Bilal Colony, Orangi Town, left home to purchase groceries from the market but did not return home. Her family filed a missing report in the Pakistan Bazar Police Station. On Monday, Iqlima was recovered from the house of her neighbour, named Shahid.

The missing girl's father told police that his youngest daughter went out to purchase something from the market when the accused Shahid locked her in his house by tricking her.

The residents of the area forcefully entered the accused's house and recovered the girl from a cage-shaped room. The residents of the area handed over the kidnapper to the police.

SHO Khan Muhammad said that the area residents handed over the accused to the police after which legal action was taken by the police.
