Teenage girl kidnapped three days ago recovered

Police arrest suspect, recover 16 year-old who was taken from Gulberg

DIJKOT:

Police recovered a teenage girl who had been kidnapped from Gulberg three days ago.

A suspect in the case has also been arrested, police said. They said that 16-year-old, Zainab, who is a Norwegian national, had come to Pakistan to attend a wedding ceremony.

She had been kidnapped from outside a beauty parlor, they said. The SP of Lyallpur Town, Daniyal Ahmed, formed a team which managed to find out that the kidnappers had taken Zainab to Shorkot.

Police officers then raided a place in Shorkot and recovered Zainab.

Police also arrested the accused, Muhammad Talha, a student of intermediate, and transferred him to Faisalabad.

During the investigation the accused allegedly told the police that he had chatted with Zainab eight months ago on PUBG, and on July 26 she had called him for a meeting, and that he took her with him to Shorkot.
