Amazon has announced the dates for its two-day annual shopping event called ‘Amazon Prime Day.’
Amazon Prime Day will last for two days starting from July 12. While the news regarding its first event for this year just reached the users, it was reported that the company is already gearing up for another similar event in October.
According to a notice viewed by CNBC, the company recently started approaching its third-party merchants for a “Prime Fall” deal event through its internal portal called “Seller Central”.
There are no specific dates given for the event, however, the sellers have been directed to submit their deals by the end of July. As per CNBC, the notice says, “The Prime Fall deal event is a Prime-exclusive shopping event coming in Q4. Submit recommended Lightning Deals for this event for a chance to have your deal selected!”
Due to the pandemic, Amazon saw slow growth in the business. Hence, hosting two shopping events can help the company perform better by attracting more customers. The events will reportedly have a wide range of products with a variety of deals.
