Family Foes: Couple attacked by girl’s family

MUZAFFARGARH: A married couple was severely injured for marrying against their family’s wishes.  According to police officials, accused Mushtaq Ahmad along with his accomplice attacked Zafar and his wife and injured them with a sharp-edged weapon in Rangpur village. Police officials said that Zafar had married Shabana a week ago against the wishes of the girl’s family. The couple was staying with Zafar’s family, when Shabana’s cousins attacked them. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. The couple has been admitted to the DHQ hospital.
