Actors Hania Amir and Ali Rehman Khan are promoting their upcoming film Parde Mein Rehne Do in full swing. After arriving at the launch event for the film’s title track Peela Rung in the back of a truck, the duo has now crashed a real-life mehendi event to shake a leg to the song in front of an audience.
After rumours started floating about of the actors performing at a random wedding event, Hania took to her stories to share a video of the pair at the wedding event, writing, “It’s true you guys”!
Producer Shazia Wajahat shared videos of Hania and Ali waiting in their cars to enter the venue as well, with Hania exclaiming how nervous she was and that she hopes the wedding party doesn't “mind” the uninvited guests.
A video of the performance was shared by co-producer Wajahat Rauf with the caption, “Hania Amir and Ali Rehman crash a wedding and dance on Peela Rung. Parde Mein Rehne Do promotions in full swing!” The full video of the performance was also posted on YouTube.
Hania looked ethereal in a shimmery yellow and gold lehenga-choli, while Ali opted for a matching plain yellow kurta-white pajama combo.
Following the struggles of a married couple, played by Hania and Ali, failing to get pregnant, and the societal pressures they face along the way, the Wajahat Rauf directorial appears to offer a hefty dose of drama with a fair bit of comedy sprinkled in. The film will be released on Eidul Fitr.
