Ushna Shah, Saba Faisal are shooting with Anurag Kashyap in Belarus

The details about the upcoming 'project' are currently under wraps

Seems like a major cross-border collaboration is on the cards! Pakistani star Ushna Shah and veteran actor Saba Faisal are currently in Belarus with none other than Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Saba recently took to Instagram and shared a video from Minsk where the cast and crew of the upcoming 'project' have been working. 

"Today is the first day of why I am currently in Belarus," the Qayamat star shared in a video. "You will get to see our upcoming project with a great director."

Ushna, too, shared a video of the two chatting with the Gangs of Wasseypur director. "Cross border collaboration," the Parizaad actor shared, adding, "Honoured and excited to learn from this institution." She went on to hashtag Anurag Kashyap.

However, contradicting Saba's statement, Ushna added the upcoming collaboration is not a project. She went on to clarify, "Getting tips from the great AK (Anurag Kashyap) doesn't mean I am on a current project with him." Ushna concluded with, "Will let you know when that happens."

In 2018, Anurag spoke about the ban on art in both countries, given the current political standpoint. Discussing the possibility of filming in Pakistan, Kashyap said, “I would love to film in Pakistan. I have always wanted to visit and attend the literature festivals but it never worked out. I have friends who have visited Pakistan and they tell me how badly they want to go again.”
