‘Igloos’ inaugurated at Bansra Gali in Murree

Special attention being paid to tourism with more projects lined up to facilitate tourists, says CM's advisor

Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Asif Mehmood performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the inauguration of igloos at Glamp Park, Bansra Gali in Murree.

Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Chairman Sohail Cheema, former Patriata Resort Manager Zahid Khan and Tourism Manager Ejaz Butt were also present at the occasion.

A grand ceremony was held at the opening, which was attended by a large number of stakeholders, hoteliers, media representatives and tourists.

Mehmood said that as per the vision of Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister, special attention is being paid to tourism with more projects lined up to facilitate tourists visiting hill stations such as Murree.

Terming Murree an important tourist destination, the advisor said that the city boasts some excellent parks that are unfortunately hidden from most of the visitors’ view.
