Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday summoned the Sindh Police Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) director general over a petition pertaining to a five-year-old child missing since January 3.

A two-judge bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, heard the petition regarding the disappearance of the child.

The petitioner’s counsel said that his client’s son was playing outside his home and suddenly disappeared. Police have been unable to locate the whereabouts of the child, he said. The court directed that all resources should be used for child’s recovery.

Sharjeel Memon gets respite The Sindh High Court (SHC) while seeking arguments from the petitioner’s counsel on the NAB report at the next hearing in a petition pertaining to two more inquiries against former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon, extended the restraining order against his arrest in any secret inquiry.

During the hearing by a twomember bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, the NAB provided details of cases against Sharjeel Memon.

NAB said that two references against Sharjeel Memon were pending in the accountability court while four more investigations were underway against him.
