The Gizri police on Friday claimed to have busted the so called Burger Gang wanted to the police for number of robberies in the up-scale localities of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Clifton.
South district SSP Zubair Nazir said that the police have recovered a stolen car, gold jewellery and cash from the gang of four identified as Shahid Burger Boss, Amir Jazz, Imran Jamil and Faisal Pakori.
According to SSP South Zubair Nazir, a special team was formed after a spate of robberies at homes in DHA and Clifton.

SSP Nazir said the suspects have confessed to their crimes during interrogation. The accused have been arrested earlier too, he said. Other accomplices of the accused include Shahid Kala, Irfan Patni and Adeel. There are 44 cases registered against the suspects in different police stations.
In addition, the Special Investigation Unit arrested two street criminals Abdul Sharif Khan and Faqir Muhammad from the New Karachi area. Police seized two unlicenced pistols from the suspects.
