KARACHI:

A speeding oil tanker turned turtle after its driver lost control over the steering on the road between Jinnah Bridge and ICI Chowk on Saturday, spilling the oil on the road.

A spokesperson for the traffic police said, the road had become slippery because of oil as a result many motorcyclists slipped causing injuries to them and damage to their bikes.

A large number of people, including women, were seen collecting the spilled oil in plastic cans and other utensils. Later with the help of a crane and firefighters, the traffic police removed the oil tanker.
