Cricket: BLK, Shaheen XI win in Super 8 event

Beat by four wickets to advance to the next round of the Super 8 Independence Day Cricket Tournament.

PESHAWAR: Bari Lal Kurti (BLK) XI beat Khan XI by three wickets and Shaheen XI outclassed Khalsa XI by four wickets to advance to the next round of the Super 8 Independence Day Cricket Tournament being played at the Qayyum Sports Complex. Khan XI set a 58-run target off eight overs but saw BLK XI overhaul it for the loss of seven wickets. In the other match, Khalsa XI chose to bat first but failed in their bid to post a huge total. After managing just 33 runs on the board, Shaheen XI lost six wickets before making their way to the next round.
