Presses India to stop atrocities in IIOJK

Punjab Governor Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar whilst urging the international community to cooperate with the leadership in Afghanistan peace process said that the peace in Afghanistan will not only be in benefit for the region instead it will benefit the international community.

“Pakistan will not interfere in internal matters of any country including Afghanistan but conspiracies of India against peace were being seen by countries around the world.”

He expressed these views while speaking to the media on Sunday. The governor said, “There is no such example in world of the way in which India is oppressing innocents and children in Kashmir. The United Nations should solve the issue of Kashmir in accordance with its resolutions because it is very important for complete peace in region.”

He clarified that the chief minister had full confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan, coalition parties and of members Punjab assembly. “There is no such example in the past of steps taken by current government in education and others sectors. Sindh government should also focus on providing the basic facilities to the public as the current situation of Sindh is in front of everyone.”

Regarding electoral reforms, he further said that the government was inviting opposition from day one to hold talks on electoral reforms. “But unfortunately, the opposition is refusing the negotiations even without seeing the document of electoral reforms.
