Youth allegedly poisoned to death

Victim was reportedly tied with ropes and poisoned to death.

A young man was allegedly murdered in Hassan Villas on Wednesday. Reportedly, the victim was tied with ropes and poisoned to death.

Police said 24-year-old Faizan Nazir, a resident of Hassan Villas, was found lying dead on a bed at home.

Seeing his body lying, the family members informed the police. Police rushed to the spot, took the body into custody and shifted it to Allied Hospital's Mortuary Unit.

Police said there were marks of the rope being tied on the wrists of the slain Faizan who was poisoned to death.

It is being suspected that the characters of the victim's sister Rehmana and mother Kaniz is not allegedly good and Faizan forbade them.

However, it is possible that both mothers and daughters poisoned him after tying him with ropes. The matter is being investigated and action will be taken as per the law.

Last year in August, a man was set on fire in Thikriwala. His body was charred completely.
