Iranian border officials have handed over 155 more Pakistani nationals to Levies authorities at the Taftan border on Tuesday. They were arrested from different cities of Iran for not possessing valid travel documents.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the detained persons wanted to travel to Europe via Iran.
Out of those arrested, 125 belonged to Punjab, 22 to to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, two to Azad Kashmir and six detainees were from Sindh while 18 others were deported back to Iran for not possessing valid Pakistani documents.
