An eight-year-old boy was killed after abduction in Kahna and his body was recovered from a pond after eight days. Police said it has been reported that the eight-yearold son of Riaz, a resident of Kahna Baduki village in Lahore, left his house for Friday prayers and did not return. A case of his abduction was registered at Kahna police station upon the request of his father. The child's father says that the police have registered a case of abduction of my child but did not try to find him.

He said, “My child could have been found alive if the police had cooperated.” The family has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to arrest the killers of their child and provide them justice. Police say a case of child abduction has been registered in Kahna police station and the child's body has been shifted to hospital for autopsy. The real facts will come out only after the postmortem report of the deceased.
