Pakistan’s legendary former pacer and current bowling coach Waqar Younis, in a tweet on Monday, questioned the ‘cheeky giggle’ of South Africa’s wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock after opener Fakhar Zaman was found short of his crease just seven runs away from the 200 mark in the second One-Day International (ODI) between the two sides on Sunday.

The 49-year-old praised the brave and impeccable knock of Fakhar Zaman while posing the question about Quinton de Kocks ‘cheeky giggle’.

The dismissal of opener Fakhar Zaman has become a controversial topic as many fans and analysts believe that the distraction caused by Quinton that led to the opener’s wicket was against the rules and the spirit of the game.

The on-field umpires and match referees however did not see anything wrong with the move.
