QUETTA:

Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel on Saturday laid the foundation stone of Kuchlak Judicial Complex.

The complex will be constructed at a cost of Rs157 million over a period of two years.

According to the chief justice, the judicial complexes of Kuchlak and Sariab were separately built from the one in Quetta with the aim of bringing justice to the people at their doorstep.

On the occasion, Balochistan Minister for Excise and Taxation Malik Naeem Bazai was also present. While addressing the ground breaking ceremony of the complex, he said that it was being inaugurated in order to link the chain of delivery of justice to the poor on time.

“The society cannot progress unless cheap justice is provided to satisfy common man,” said the Balochistan minister during his address, hoping the lawyers would cater complaints of public who were expecting prompt action on their issues in court.

Addressing the chief justice directly, the provincial minister said: “Mr chief justice, your services are commendable.”

“Ever since you have taken over the responsibilities, you have made a personal effort to ensure that every poor person in the province gets cheap justice as soon as possible,” he added.
