The case of a Myanmar national Ibrahim Koko getting Pakistani nationality documents was quoted by the Indian government in Indian spy Kalbhoshan Yadav case, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani on Wednesday.
He issued directives to produce a copy of the order of the Thai court in the implementation case regarding the deportation of Myanmar national Ibrahim Koko to Pakistan.
A single-member bench of IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani on Wednesday presided over the case of an Arakan Muslim, Ibrahim Koko, who was caught on Myanmar Thailand border for smuggling but sent to Pakistan when he produced a Pakistani passport. Neither Myanmar, nor Thailand are willing to take back Koko, considered an international drug baron in these two far eastern countries.

The court warned the staff of Pakistan’s embassy in Thailand to remain careful next time.
Kayani asked the representative of the foreign ministry he was aware of the repercussions of IHC’s orders. Justice Kiyani remarked that the Indian government quoted the verdict of the case in the Kalboshan Yadav case and labeled Pakistan’s embassies fraudsters. The hearing of the case was adjourned until April 1.
