The clerks across the garrison city observed a pen-down strike and locked their offices on the call of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) on Tuesday over rising inflation and the government’s disinterest over socio-economic welfare for the poor.

APCA Divisional President Chaudhry Mubashir Ahmed and other officials, including Shehzad Kayani, Fida Hussain Naqvi, Raja Shahid and Raja Aftab Ahmed, issued a joint declaration regarding a pen-down strike and lockdown in offices for Tuesday.
