The federal government's attitude towards the people of Sindh is that of a stepmother's, said Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart Sharjeel Inam Memon on Tuesday.
He was addressing the media after inaugurating the road from Gaja Mori to Sono Khan Almani village after repair work was completed.
He censured the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government as incompetent.

Responding to a question, Memon said that despite increasing severity of cold in Sindh, 14-hour-long load shedding is being carried out. Moreover, he said, the gas produced in Sindh is being given to other provinces on priority basis, which is unconstitutional.
Memon further said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement's leadership is united and its goal is to restore real democracy and the constitutional status of parliament.
