KURIANWALA:

A young worker was killed when the wall of a cotton factory collapsed in Khurrianwala area on Wednesday.

Rescue 1122 officials said that 19-year-old Wasim Allah Dutta and 21-year-old Saleem, the son of Zafar Hussain, were working at the cotton factory when the wall collapsed over them.

The victims were trapped under the rubble.

A Rescue 1122, on receiving information, reached the accident site where Wasim succumbed to this injuries while his colleague was severely injured when he came under the debris.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured to the hospital after providing medical treatment.

Police took the body into custody and handed it over to his heirs after taking necessary action. As per the details, the young factory workers were trapped under the rubble when the under-construction wall of the cotton factory located near Ada Johal, Sheikhupura Road, suddenly collapsed.

The Rescue 1122 personnel pulled them out of the debris.

The injured victim was rushed to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
