MUZAFFARGARH:

Veterinary doctors conducted a training programme to give tips to livestock farmers about keeping their cattle disease-free and healthy.

The programme was conducted at Chandar Bhan union council in Alipur tehsil on Thursday.

The vets advised the farmers to get their animals vaccinated on time and give these de-worming medicine after every three months.

The livestock department officials advised farmers to provide 100 grammes of jaggery to animals daily to save them from cold and provide them sun-dried fodder. They also asked the farmers to not let animals drink water kept overnight in vessels. Livestock Additional Director Dr Muhammad Tariq and a large number of farmers attended the training.
