Rashid urged the opposition to respect the vote instead of raising a hue and cry over the matter

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday blamed the opposition led Pakistan Democratic Movement for putting the lives of their voters at risk by forcing them to attend rallies.

He was addressing a press conference with National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri in Quetta.

Rashid urged the opposition to respect the vote instead of raising a hue and cry over the matter. “The government will fight the opposition in a dignified, constitutional and legal manner. It will also formulate a strategy to tackle the nonsensical statements of PDM leaders,” he said.

He highlighted that trains are carrying less passengers to avoid the risk of coronavirus. “Decision to rehabilitate other trains has not been taken yet.
