Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said on Sunday that a master plan is being developed for proper water supply, uplift of parks and sewerage projects in the city.
Talking to the media at the Jinnah House Sialkot, he said the mega project worth Rs15 billion would ensure world-class municipal facilities to one million people of the city.
He said the Punjab government was working with Asian Development Bank experts on the project to facilitate supply of clean drinking water to citizens, proper waste management, renovation of parks, and effective transport management through a masterplan.
Dar remarked that the completion of these projects would directly benefit at least one million residents of the city.
