The Federal Investigation Authority’s cybercrime wing claimed on Saturday to have arrested a suspect for harassing and blackmailing a female SHO. According to additional director Faizullah Korejo, the suspect, Naeem alias Kalu, was arrested on the complaint of SHO Ghazala Parveen, while he was visiting Karachi to obtain bail in a case registered against him with the cybercrime wing. He added that a mobile phone seized from Naeem’s possession had illicit pictures and videos that he had sent to several government officials. Korejo stated that Naeem had been harassing the SHO for several weeks, threatening and demanding money from her. He added that the suspect was an influential person in Lahore. Moreover, he had been using his maternal uncle’s phone number to blackmail and threaten the SHO. Naeem’s uncle is also testifying against him.
