He’s back!
Sinister stalker Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is all set to return in the third season of Netflix’s super popular psychological thriller You.
Last season was filled with plot twists, with Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn ramping up the show’s tension as Joe’s latest obsession but this time, with a murderous secret of her own.
The binge-worthy drama’s last episode saw Goldberg change his identity and move from New York to LA, where he met his new target: Love. However, with season two ending with him on the back foot, what lies ahead for the duo in series three?
Caroline Kepnes, who writes the books on which You is based, recently announced that she had finished the third installment in the series so hopefully we’ll be given some hints as to what we should expect in the upcoming season of the show. Although it’s not yet known how the coronavirus pandemic will impact production, fingers crossed we don’t have to wait too long.
Season three will consist of 10 episodes – as was the case for the first two – and was originally set to stream in 2021, although there’s been no news yet if the ongoing pandemic has had an effect on that release date.
The show seems to hint that Joe and Love will attempt to become a happy family unit, though we’re sure some killing is going to get in the way eventually.
