A teenage girl was allegedly gang raped in Manga Mandi area on Friday. Police said that on the day of the incident, the father of the 15-year-old victim had left for his workshop a few kilometres away from his house.
The victim’s mother had left home for some work as well while their daughter was alone at home. During this time, a suspect identified as Ali Raza approached the victim and told her that his mother was calling her.
When the victim went to the accused’s home, there was no one to be found. The accused then allegedly locked the room where he along with three accomplices subjected her to sexual violence.
Punjab IG Inam Ghani took notice of the incident while Lahore CCPO Umar Sheikh demanded an immediate report of the incident.
