LAHORE:

At least five people died in a road traffic accident on Defence Road near Lahore University on Saturday. The details revealed the crash resulted after a car and motorcycle rickshaw rammed into each other. Due to the road crash, all the passengers sustained serious injuries. Nearby people called Rescue 1122 teams. They reached the spot on information and shifted the injured to the hospital where doctors pronounced them as brought dead. The deceased had been identified as Shahzad Hussain, 22, Zahid Hussain, 42, Farooq Akhtar, 25, Zaryab Maqsood, 30 and Husnain Falak, 32.
