AYUBIA:

The officials of the Ayubia National Park have started fleecing the visitors to Doonga Gali and Mushkpuri Tracks, The Express Tribune learnt on Saturday.

The wildlife officials are charging exorbitant rates for tickets from the visitors and do not even provide a receipt against it. The officials are also charging entry fee from the locals which is prohibited as they have been exempted from it. They are also looting people by selling products at much higher prices than their retail prices.

The canteens established at the tracks were selling a 500ml filtered-water bottle for Rs90 instead of actual rate of Rs30. Visitors told The Express Tribune that the officials manhandled them and hurled profanities when questioned over excess entry fee and high price bottled water.
