Profiteers held, fined by magistrates

LAHORE:

Price Control Magistrates of the city district administration imposed a total fine of Rs36,500 on shopkeepers for profiteering and overcharging in various parts of the provincial capital on Friday. City administration spokesman said the magistrates arrested 10 shopkeepers, inspected 388 points and found 37 violations. At least 10 cases were also registered against the profiteers.
